Calming Hoods
A calming hood, sometimes called a therapy hood or soothing hood, is a specially designed hood that covers the horse's ears and sometimes larger parts of the head. It is used to reduce stress levels, especially in competition situations with a lot of noise and movement. Does the Fenwick hood work on all horses? The effect can vary, but many horses show signs of calmer behavior even after the first use. When should you use a calming hood? During competitions, transport, veterinary visits, farrier appointments, environmental training, or other stressful situations.
